Job Title: Associate Staff Member – Zotec Partners Carmel Ice Skadium & Arctic Zone Iceplex

Location: Carmel, Indiana

Job Summary:

We are looking for reliable individuals to join our team as Associate Staff Members at Zotec Partners Carmel Ice Skadium & the Arctic Zone Iceplex. This role plays an important part in ensuring the day-to-day operation of the facility. Associates will have the opportunity to contribute to creating great experiences for our customers while gaining valuable experience in a recreational and customer service setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Provide accurate information about skating programs, rentals, and facility policies.
- Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Skate Rental Management:
- Assist customers with fitting and renting ice skates.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of rental skates.
- Report any damaged or unsafe equipment for prompt repair or replacement.
Facility Maintenance:
- Help keep the facility clean and well-maintained, including the skating area, restrooms, and common areas.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Promote a safe environment by monitoring and reporting any safety hazards or concerns.
Cash Handling and Sales:
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Sell admission tickets, skate rentals, and concession items as necessary.
Event Support:
- Assist in setting up and organizing special events, parties, and tournaments.
- Provide support during events by assisting guests, monitoring activities, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
